Kissimmee, FL- California Baptist University earns their consecutive national title at The 2012 NCCAA Women’s Soccer DI National Championship. On CBU’s journey to the Championship Final their first match was against #7 Palm Beach Atlantic ending in a 5-1 victory for the CBU Lancers. CBU went on to win their second match of the week with a 4-0 shutout against Grace College. CBU would then face Southern Nazarene University in the final championship match held on Saturday, December 1 at 3:00pm. CBU’s Kelly Jenks scored quickly in the 3^rd minute of the match unassisted giving CBU the early lead. Just over 1 minute later Daelyn Paul finishes a cross from Lindsay Vesling to give the Lancers a 2-0 lead. In the second CBU would find the net one last time in the 67^th minute. Finishing the third goal, her second of the match, was Kelly Jenks assisted by Eva Solis. This is the second consecutive year California Baptist University women’s soccer have won the NCCAA banner.
