Anna Arrese Cortadellas, senior from Barcelona, Spain, won an individual title for the second time in two weeks, posting a five-shot win in the Diffee Ford-Lincoln Invitational at Kickingbird Golf Course in Edmond, Okla. (par 70, 5,768 yards). Playing on a soggy course (due to heavy rain on the tournament's opening day), which played much longer than usual as a result, she posted a final-round 2-under 68 -- the best score of her career -- and turned a four-shot deficit entering the round into a runaway win. She lifted Oklahoma Christian to a second-place team finish in a 14-team field that included NCAA Division II powers Central Oklahoma and Arkansas Tech and longtime NAIA power Oklahoma City University. Arrese Cortadellas now stands third in NCAA Division II in stroke average and has seven career wins.
