Paradise Henson, freshman from Wilson, NC, starred in the sprint events at the Southwestern Invitational in Winfield, Kan. in her first career outdoor meet for Oklahoma Christian. In a competitive field that included some of the region's top NCAA Division II, NAIA and junior-college programs, she finished fifth in the 100 meters in 12.50 seconds and eighth in 200 meters in 26.00 seconds, easily qualifying her for the NCCAA Outdoor Championships in both events.
