Kendra Pierce, senior shortstop from Oklahoma City, OK, extended her hitting streak to 17 games with another monster week for Oklahoma Christian University. She went 12-of-17 at the plate and five of those hits were for extra bases, including a grand slam in a win at Oklahoma Wesleyan and a pair of homers in OC's series at Texas A&M International. TAMIU failed to retire Pierce during her final eight trips to the plate in the series. She recorded multiple hits in four of the Lady Eagles' five games this week (all on the road) and finished with a strong 1.353 slugging percentage and a healthy .722 on-base percentage. She also played errorless defense at shortstop, successfully handling all 17 chances.
