Nathan George, junior from Coquitlam, British Columbia, opened his Trinity Western outdoor season with a pair of impressive efforts in the 200m and 400m at the UBC Invitational in Vancouver, BC, which vaulted him to the top of the NCCAA rankings in both events. Running in rainy and windy conditions, George finished first in the 400m in 47.79 and second in the 200m in 21.50. George is coming off an indoor season in which he finished second in Canada in at the CIS national championships in the 300m with a time of 34.04. George ranks first in the NCCAA in both the 400 and 200.
