Kolton Brown, sophomore first baseman from Yukon, OK, entered the week with three career home runs, but smashed four in five games as Oklahoma Christian went undefeated on the week. Six of his seven hits on the week went for extra bases, giving him a slugging percentage of 1.294. He clubbed two homers in a 5-1 win over longtime NCAA Division II power Southeastern Oklahoma State, then followed with a two-run shot the next day as the Eagles won 6-3 at NAIA No. 4-ranked Oklahoma City University, giving OC a second consecutive season sweep of its longtime rival after a 40-year drought. He doubled and tripled in OC's first two wins over Oklahoma Panhandle State before capping his week by fisting a two-run blast as the Eagles completed the series sweep with an 11-0 win.
