LaNissa Burns, junior from Austin, TX, hit the top marks in the NCCAA for both the hammer and the discus at the East Texas Invitational at Texas A&M-Commerce for McMurry University. She was second, overall, in both events. Burns hit a throw of 159'8" in the hammer and 148'3" in the discus.
