Jocelyn Ojala, sophomore from New Ipswich, NH, took individual medalist honors at the Crossroads League Championship this week scoring a 237 (84-80-73), two strokes ahead for of Marian's Darrah Holder who finished second. Ojala took over the top spot in the third and final round of play when she carded a 73. Her +1 in the final 18-holes was the best round score of the tournament by five strokes and one of only five scores from the weekend that were below 80. With the win Ojala earns and automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship and will represent Bethel College women's golf in Savannah, Georgia in mid-May.
