Patrick Barrios, senior center fielder from Wooster, OH, in the final week of his career had an amazing stretch, going 12-for-21 (.571) from the plate and scoring 6 runs for Summit University. The outfielder collected 15 RBIs, nearly half of his season total. He recorded 6 doubles and a triple, three stolen bases, and never struck out. In his team’s two wins against Geneva College, Barrios went 6-for-9 with 5 RBIs. In his final game on Saturday against Elmira College, he drove in all four of his team’s runs.
