Wendy Busenitz, Faith Baptist Bible College
Wendy Busenitz, freshman from Faith Baptist Bible College, finished 3rd at the Grand View University Viking Invitational 5K on Friday afternoon with a time of 21:30. The competition was tough from schools such as Drake University, Grand View University, William Penn University, Simpson College, and others. Despite receiving over two inches of rain before and during the race, Wendy fought through the wet and muddy course with only two women from the Drake University team (an NCAA DI school) finishing ahead of her.
