The team had two wins in the final week of their regular season and Michelle Busscher's defensive effort played a big part. One victory this week was a five-set win over Olivet Nazarene University, the team that finished at the top of the conference and is receiving votes in the NAIA national poll. TCC defeated ONU twice this season and is the only team that gave ONU conference losses. In that match, the junior libero from Holland, Michigan had 35 digs, which is 7.00 per set. Michelle was also perfect from the service line and in receptions. In the team's win over Purdue-Calumet she had 18 digs, which is 6.00 per set. For the week her serving and reception percentages were 100%. The team finished the conference schedule in third place.
