Casey Clarke, senior kicker from Campbellsville University, was named the Mid-South Conference Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday after scoring 11 points in Campbellsville's 23-14 win at Bluefield College. Clarke was 3-for-6 on field goal attempts, connecting from 33, 43 and 55 yards out. His three misses were from 51, 51 and 55. He was also 2-for-2 on PAT kicks. The 55-yard field goal breaks the school record for longest FG, which Clarke tied on Sept. 29, 2012 to earn MSC, NAIA and NCCAA weekly honors. Clarke also had three touchbacks on six kickoff attempts. He averaged 59 yards per kickoff. His six FG attempts in the game is a CU single-game record. For the season, Clarke is 6-of-12 on FG attempts from more than 40 yards, including 2-of-6 from 50-plus. He is 6-of-7 on FG tries inside 40 yards.
