Senior forward Charles Brodhead averaged a double, double on the week with 25 points per game, 11.67 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals against two NCCAA top 10 teams (#1 Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College and #10 Ozark Christian College) and Calvary Bible College. Early in the week Brodhead, a native of Lompoc, California, kept the Bears within striking distance until late in the second half in a road loss to Hillsdale (90-107) by going for 31 points on 57 percent shooting from the floor, which included 3-5 from three point range and 12 rebounds. Friday night Brodhead scored 11 points, dished out 6 assists, and grabbed 6 rebounds in just 18 minutes of action to help beat Calvary 95-53. Then on Saturday, Brodhead went for 33 points and 17 rebounds on a 13-18 shooting (3-4 from three) performance in a tightly contested win against Ozark (105-100).
