Kelli Tolar poured in a school-record 43 points to lead the Mid-America Christian University Lady Evangels to a 79-70 victory at USAO on Tuesday evening. Tolar, a senior guard from San Antonio Texas, also had 11 rebounds in the victory and her 16 field goals tied a single-game school record. Tolar then scored 24 points in an 86-77 win over Bacone College before tallying 15 points as the Lady Evangels fell 78-66 to Texas Wesleyan University Saturday. In the three games, Tolar averaged 27.3 points and 6 rebounds. Tolar leads the Lady Evangels and is third in the NAIA in scoring this season with 21.6 points per game along with hitting a team-high 57 threes on the season.
