Bowles, a native of Detroit Michigan, dominated both games, defensively protecting the rim. In a pivotal region win of 85-75 over Faith Baptist, Bowles led Crossroads with 12 points on 57 percent shooting, 9 rebounds, 5 blocks, 2 assists, and 1 steal. In the second game of the week, Bowles dominated on both ends of the floor with 21 points, 13 rebounds, 6 blocked shots, 3 assists and 2 steals in a 73-55 win over St. Louis Christian. Bowles anchored the defense that did not allow either opponent to shoot over 39 percent from the floor. On the week, Bowles averaged 16.5 points on 57 percent shooting, 11 rebounds, 5.5 blocks, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals.
