Lady Jacket sophomore, Carsyn Koch, obliterated the school record in the mile at the Grand Valley State University Big Meet. The Washburn, Maine native placed 3rd out of 66 competitors in 4:48.36. Koch was the top finisher among collegiate athletes and her time currently ranks No. 1 in the NCCAA and No. 5 in NCAA Division II. Koch's mark was 6.43 seconds faster than the previous CU record. Cedarville's distance medley relay team took more than 16 seconds off the school record at the Grand Valley State University Big Meet. The foursome of Olivia Esbenshade, Sarah Hoffman, Carsyn Koch, and Lyndsey Smith was timed in 11:45.16 which is also ranked No. 1 in the NCCAA.
