Jalin Lawson was a big contributor as NCCAA #1 Central Baptist College went 4-1 this week to a school best start of 29-6. The junior from Troy, Alabama batted .500 on the week, going 8 of 16 with 1 double and 2 home runs. Jalin also had 8 runs scored, 5 RBI’s, and 3 stolen bases. Lawson currently leads the NAIA DI in home runs (14), #3 in runs scored (46), #3 in slugging percentage (.871), #4 in home runs per game (.400), and #6 in total RBI’s (44).
