Erik Bowen, a junior from Kokomo, Indiana, was named the Lancer Tipoff Classic MVP after averaging a double-double of 16.0 points and 10.5 rebounds along with 5.5 assists per game. Bowen shot 50 percent from the floor and was 12-14 from the foul line (86 percent) to lead Grace College to 2 wins to start the season.
