Carsyn Koch, a junior from Washburn, Maine, was a winner in the mile run at the Youngstown State Invitational as the Lady Jackets opened their 2017 indoor schedule. Koch was timed in 4:53.81 to win the mile by more than two-and-a-half seconds. The mark meets the NCAA DII provisional qualifying standard and rates second all-time at Cedarville behind her own time of 4:48.36. Koch ranks No. 1 in the NCCAA and is No. 6 in NCAA DII in the mile run.
