Sophomore Jamal Williams sparked the Lions’ offense in their 3 wins last week, extending their winning streak to 5 games. The Powder Spring, Georgia native scored 29 points in 23 minutes on 13-of-17 shooting from the field in a 119-93 win over Cankdeska Cikana. Williams followed that up with 26 points in 27 minutes on 12-of-16 shooting in the Lions’ 107-90 win over Oak Hills Christian College (OHCC). He finished the weekend with 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting from the field in an 88-52 win over OHCC. On the week, Williams averaged 23 points, 3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 2.3 steals per game while shooting 75 percent from the field.
