Junior Adam Sandidge, who already has an NCCAA National Championship to his credit this season in cross country, stood out for the Tigers and brought home the victory in the 3000 meter run. The Hodgenville, Kentucky native outran 10 competitors in a time of 8:43.71 at the Fred Wilt Open at Purdue University. With this time, Sandidge broke the school record and qualified for both the NCCAA and NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships in the event. Sandidge is No. 1 in the NCCAA and No. 14 in the NAIA with this time.
