Samara Dingiswayo, a senior from Oakland, California, scored 12 of her 17 points in the second half to help erase a 15-point deficit in Belhaven University’s 77-68 win over East Texas Baptist. Dingiswayo would top that performance in the 94-92 win over Louisiana College (LC). Down 83-80 with less than 40 seconds to go, she drained her eighth 3-pointer of the game, breaking a school record, to tie the contest at 83. After an LC bucket, Dingiswayo hit a jumper at the buzzer to send the game to overtime. With less than 10 seconds left in the extra period, she made the game-winning floater with 2.4 seconds remaining. She finished the game with 34 points and 9 rebounds.
