Junior Carsyn Koch pulled away from the field to successfully defend her 800m crown at the NCAA DII Indoor Track & Field Championship, becoming a national champion for the second-consecutive year. The Washburn, Maine native posted a time of 2:05.65 to win by a margin of 1.73 seconds inside the Birmingham CrossPlex. Koch also ran on the Distance Medley Relay team that took 3rd with a time of 11:19.55, setting a new school record in the process.
