Payton Carli, a freshman from Lombard, Illinois, posted a hit in 5-of-6 games for the Trojans last week while tallying 7 runs and 4 RBI. Carli batted .375, had a team leading .500 slugging percentage, stole 5 bases, and was walked 5 times. She went 1-for-3 in the Trojans’ win over NAIA No. 16 St. Francis on Wednesday, driving in the game-winning run with a 2-RBI triple in the 5th inning.
