Isiah Elliot, junior guard from Malone University, helped the Pioneers register a pair of road victories last week by averaging 26.0 points, seven assists, 6.5 rebounds and one block per contest. He racked up 27 points, eight assists and six rebounds in Malone’s 90-85 victory at Tiffin on Thursday Elliott then registered a game-high 25 points to go with seven rebounds, and six assists in the Pioneers’ 79-75 comeback win at Ohio Dominican on Saturday. On top of his strong all-around performance in both games, the junior point guard helped seal the victories by draining a pair of free throws in the final minute of each contest. On the week, Elliott connected on 16 of 18 (88.9%) free throws and 16 of 31 (51.6%) shots from the field, including four of seven (57.1%) from beyond the three-point arc. He currently ranks third in the GLIAC in scoring, fourth in assists and sixth in steals.
