Junior Carsyn Koch wiped out her own school record in the 1500m with an impressive victory at the Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Invitational. The Washburn, Maine native’s time of 4:12.19 is the second-fastest in NCAA DII history, trailing only the 4:11.06 mark by Seattle Pacific’s Jessica Pixler at the 2010 Mt. SAC Relays. Koch met the NCAA DII automatic qualifying standard in the 800m with her performance at the Mt. SAC Relays. She was clocked at 2:06.36, which is the second-fastest NCAA DII time this season. Koch’s times in both of these events rank No. 1 in the NCCAA this season.
