Sophomore Marcus McCants helped the Campbellsville defense win the turnover battle (+3) in its 51-33 win over Point University on the road. The native of Seffner, Florida led the defense with 2 interceptions and compiled 51 return yards off the 2 picks. McCants’ first interception came in the 3rd quarter and he returned it 49 yards to the Point 20-yard line, setting up a Tiger touchdown on the next play. With the 2 interceptions, McCants is 2nd in the NAIA and is also tied for the most picks in a game this season.
