Zack Hayward, junior quarterback from Geneva College (PA), despite a 56-53 loss at Frostburg State in the 2012 season opener, rewrote the Geneva College record book. Hayward completed 39-49 passes for 535 yards and seven touchdowns. Hayward also broke Presidents' Athletic Conference records for passing yardage and touchdown passes in a game. In the highest scoring game in 121 years of Geneva football, Hayward also ran for 39 yards just for good measure. He also broke the conference record for total yardage.
