Kim Buskirk, a sophomore from Blanchard, Michigan, set a personal 6k season record at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invitational and finished 5th out of 137 runners. Buskirk finished with a time of 25:12.04. She held off 2 hard-charging competitors while also moving from 6th to 5th in the final 50 meters of the race.
