Dominique Rambo, junior guard from Southwestern Assemblies of God University, hit two game winners during a 2-0 week for the Lions, who are ranked #14 in the NAIA with a 20-3 record. Last Tuesday, tied at 71 against Langston University (Ok), he was fouled on a drive inside and sank two free throws with four seconds left in a 75-71 win. Saturday, after Texas Wesleyan University tied the game with their 14th three-pointer with 20 seconds remaining, Rambo drained a step back triple with four seconds to go for a 90-87 Lions victory. In two games he averaged 24.5 ppg, 3.0 rebounds, 7.0 steals, 4.5 assists. He made 15 of 36 shots (.417), 5 of 16 three-pointers (.313) and 14 of 17 free throws (.824). He leads SAGU in scoring at 17.4 ppg.
