Junior DJ Hanes played a huge role in helping the Sentinels outlast Barclay College in their first game of the season. The Colorado Springs, Colorado native had 48 points and 13 rebounds in the 110-101 win. Hanes then had 21 points and 5 rebounds in a 123-67 win over St. Louis Christian College. On the week, Hanes averaged 34.5 points and 9 rebounds while shooting 63.1 percent from the floor.
