Senior Cat Newberry scored the third goal in the Eagles’ 3-0 shutout victory over Ottawa University Arizona in the NCCAA West Regional match. It was the second goal of the season and her career, on just her second shot of the season. With fellow captain and centerback Madyson Brown out for injury, Newberry led the Eagles’ backline to their fourth-consecutive shutout. Biola prevented the Spirit from taking any shots-on-goal and limited them to just 3 shots. The Eagles will now go into the NCCAA National Championship without having conceded a goal in their last 447 minutes of play.
