Tyson Solis, a junior from El Dorado Hills, California, hit .429 (12-for-28) at the NCCAA Baseball World Series and was named Tournament Most Outstanding Player as the Tigers won their first-ever NCCAA Baseball National Championship. Solis tallied a hit in each game, including 3 hits each in wins over University of Saint Katherine and Biola University. He also recorded 6 doubles, scored 4 runs, and drove in 7 RBI’s from the two-hole in the lineup. In addition, Solis broke the single-season record for most hits in a season for Campbellsville, finishing the season with 89.
