Jordan Downs, a sophomore from Merrillville, Indiana, broke NCAA DII Grand Valley State University’s (GVSU) Kelly Family Sports Center facility record with a mark of 7.73m in the long jump. Downs’ performance met the NAIA A and NCCAA standards, and is the top mark for both this season. Downs also placed first and hit NAIA A and NCCAA standards in the 200m with a time of 22.09.
