Anna Arrese Cortadellas, sophomore from Oklahoma Christian University, took medalist honors at the Midwestern State Invitational, a tournament at Wichita Falls (Texas) Country Club that featured four top-20 NCAA Division II teams. On the par-72, 5,875-yard course, she shot rounds of 72 and 74, then won a two-hole playoff to take top honors. It's the fifth time in her 14 collegiate events she's won -- an astounding 35.7-percent clip -- and has never finished outside the top 10. She led OC to a third-place team finish, as the unranked Lady Eagles beat two ranked foes.
