Kelsey Whitted, senior from Covenant College, helped Covenant secure a victory in its final match of the season as the Lady Scots took a 5-4 win over GSAC foe Spelman. The senior teamed up with Sarah Carter at No.1 doubles to defeat Spelman 8-3. In singles play, Whitted dropped the first set but rallied back to win the final two games and score a huge 5-7, 6-2, 6-4 victory. Additionally, Whitted won her two matches with an injured leg that kept her out of the Wesleyan match just one day prior to the Spelman match.
