Molly Johnsen, sophomore pitcher from Northwestern College (MN), tallied 59 strikeouts in 40 innings pitched last week, while also establishing a new program record for single-season strikeouts with 186 on the year. The sophomore reached at least 10 K's in three of the week's contests, including striking out 16 batters in the Eagles' win over Crown College on Friday. NWC posted a 6-2 record on the week with victories over the College of St. Scholastica, Northland College, Crown College, and the University of Minnesota Morris, while falling to Bethany Lutheran College and Martin Luther College.
