Kelly Robey, sophomore pitcher from Union University, helped Union to the 2013 NCCAA Softball National Championship Title. She was 3-0 on the week with three complete games, including one shutout. In the 21 innings pitched in the national tournament, she allowed just two runs, one earned run and tallied 27 strikouts. She defeated No. 4 Simpson 2-0, No. 2 Central Baptist 2-1, and No. 1 Shorter 4-1. Robey was named the national tournament MVP, all-tournament, and NCCAA All-American.
