Dana Medich, junior outside/middle hitter from Clearwater Christian College, stepped up big after Clearwater Christian lost two starting middle hitters over the past two weeks. Dana's usual position is outside hitter but due to the team injuries she had to play an unfamiliar position in the middle and helped lead the Cougars to a 5-0 week. In four of the five matches, Dana recorded a double/double with kills and digs. Medich earned at total of 78 kills, 26 errors, on 173 attempts (.300 attack percentage). She also achieved 68 digs, 13 aces and 6 blocks. In an exciting five set win over State College of Florida, Dana led the team averaging 6.2 kills per set.
