She began the Grace Classic with 13 kills, 12 digs and one block in a 3-set win over Central Christian College of the Bible (Mo.), and followed that with 18 kills, 21 digs, 3 service aces, and 6 total blocks in a 5-set win over Providence University College from Canada, Friday, Oct. 4. Loewen totaled 14 kills, 6 digs, 7 service aces and one assisted block in a quick 3-set win over Baptist Bible College, including serving 10 consecutive points with 7 aces in set two of the match. In the fifth match of the week and the championship match of the Grace Classic, Loewen totaled 15 kills, 19 digs, 2 aces and 2 blocks against Ozark Christian College (Mo.), the number six ranked team in the NCCAA Division II national poll.
