Summary for defensive recipient: Montias Jackson, senior defensive lineman from Geneva College, has compiled 8.5 TFL (60 yards), 7.0 sacks (53 yards) for the season. All 4 of his solo tackles against St. Vincent resulted in TFL (33 yards), 3/4 resulted in a sack (27 yards). The bye week helped Geneva forget the 61-0 nothing loss at Thomas More but few teams can claim a strong defense after a 60+ defeat week previous. Jackson's big plays contributed to the bounce back, putting the ball back into offense's hands led by Hayward and ultimately for the 40-30 win over St. Vincent.
