The prolific scorer Korynn Clason out of Sterling College recorded her second 40-point performance of the season this past week, while averaging 31.5 points per game. This week’s 40-point performance also put her over 1,000 career points as a Warrior. Clason could not miss in Sterling’s two games, shooting 72.7% from the field with 24 made buckets. Much of the guard’s work came inside the paint, as she only took two three-point attempts on the week and drained both. Not only was Clason’s scoring prolific this week, but she led Sterling in rebounds and blocks, averaging 7.0 rebounds per game and 1.5 blocks per game.
