Marcellus Mencarini was lights out from the field in an incredibly busy week of basketball for Trinity Bible College. The junior guard from Woodbury, Minnesota averaged 27.7 points per game in four victories. Mencarini had a single game high of 30 points in the win against Sisseton Wahpeton, while adding 26 crucial points in Trinity Bible’s first victory against Dakota College in five years. Mencarini could not miss from deep, as he went 14-for-34 from behind the arc. Eight of those threes came in the team’s 110-99 win over Canadian Mennonite. Mencarini was also able to get to the line early and often, going 25-for-28 from the stripe, including an 11-11 mark against Sisseton Wahpeton.
