Ariana Ortiz was not only consistent at the plate this week for Ecclesia College but recorded some timely hits. The junior from Dallas, Texas hit one of her four doubles on the week to tie the game with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Ecclesia would later go on to get the win against Southwestern College in extra innings. On the week, Ortiz hit .533 with four runs scored and five RBI. She added a stolen base as well and recorded a .563 on base percentage through four games. Ecclesia would go 2-2 on the week to improve to 3-7 on the year.
