Angie Lawrence, junior guard from Campbellsville University, tied her collegiate high for points in a game (27) in her CU debut. Lawrence led CU in scoring each of the first two games of the season, helping the Lady Tigers to back-to-back 100-point games to start the year for only the second time in program history. In those first two games, Lawrence shot 16-25 (.640) FG, 6-10 (.600) 3pt and 6-9 (.667) FT. For the week, she shot .541 FG, .389 3pt and .636 FT. Lawrence also averaged 18 points, 3 rebounds, and 1.67 steals per game in the 3 wins.
