Lamarr Williams earned his second consecutive NCCAA Indoor Track Student-Athlete of the Week honor for Bethel University after a new personal best in the 200-meter. Williams competed in the Grand Valley State University Bill Clinger Classic where he ran a time of 21.85 in the 200-meter to rank second in the NCCAA and 21st in the NAIA, improving upon is national qualification mark. The freshman also competed in the 60-meter dash where he ran a time of 6.90 seconds to continue as the mark to beat in the NCCAA. Williams finished fourth in both events with over 40 competitors from every collegiate level at the meet.
