In the championship game against the host school, Misericordia University, the offense stalled in the first half, only putting up 23 points. The team would make a run in the second half and cut their deficit to 9 points, but could not get any closer as they lost 93-78. Peterson was named to the all-tournament team averaging 25.5 points per game, 7 rebounds per game, 1.50 steals per game, and 5.50 assists per game.
