Kristin Yeager helped Malone University to a sixth-place team finish at the Mike Baumer XC Classic. Yeager finished with a 5,000-meter time of 18:32.2 in the early season to place 17th individually. The native of Youngstown, Ohio averaged a 5:57.9 minute pace per mile and was the top Malone finisher at the event.
