Marley Aune repeats as the NCCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week after another outstanding blocking performance for the University of Northwestern. The Eagles went 2-1 this week as Aune recorded 23 total blocks in 12 sets. She averaged nearly two blocks per set with her best performance coming against Saint Olaf University where she recorded a near triple-double of 12 kills, 10 blocks, and 8 digs. The native of New Brighton, Minnesota finished the week with 32 kills and 13 digs to go along with her stellar blocking numbers to help bring the Eagles to 4-2 on the year.
