Aliyah Garner led Kuyper College to their first win of the year as they took down Moody Bible Institute in four sets. Garner recorded a school record 21 kills in the win and hit over .350 while adding 14 digs on the defensive end. For the week, the freshman from Grandville, Michigan totaled 53 kills and 29 digs with a pair of double-doubles. Garner added six solo blocks on the week as well with two in each match as the Cougars went 1-2 overall.
